This Privacy Policy explains how Neon 2048 handles user data on Android. It is based on the current Android WebView app implementation.
Summary
We do not require account sign-in and we do not intentionally collect personal information directly in the app.
The app shows banner ads using Google AdMob, and AdMob may process data as described in Google's own privacy terms.
Data We Access or Store
- Gameplay data stored on your device: your best score is saved locally in WebView local storage so your high score can persist.
- Diagnostics in local device logs: gameplay event names may be written to Android log output for debugging. We do not send these logs to our own servers from this app.
- Ad-related data via AdMob: the app uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to load and show banner ads.
How Data Is Used
- To run the game and retain your local best score.
- To show ads through Google AdMob.
- To troubleshoot app behavior during development and maintenance.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.
Because ads are provided by Google AdMob, data needed for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and ad measurement may be processed by Google according to Google policies: Google Privacy Policy and How AdMob uses data.
Permissions Used by the Android App
- INTERNET: required to load ads.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: used by ad/network components.
- VIBRATE: enables haptic feedback while playing.
Children
Neon 2048 is a general audience game. If your release is configured for children or families, make sure your ad setup and Play Console declarations are configured accordingly.
Retention and Deletion
Local game data (such as best score) remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. We do not maintain user accounts in this app.
Security
The app uses standard Android platform security and network protections. Ad network communication is handled by SDK and platform networking.
